Within Behavioral Health there are a great deal of disorders the mental health community works to manage everyday. At Outreach, we focus on select disorders we feel we can provide expertise and good outcomes. However, if we feel a disorder is not within our realm of practice we will happily make a referral to a practitioner who can help. Here is a list of our specialties

  • Depression

    Depression can be characterized by a persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest. Depression can lead to a range of behavioral and physical symptoms including change in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behavior, or self-esteem. Our medical professionals can help you find happiness again.

  • Anxiety

    Anxiety is feeling stress that is out of proportion, worry or fear that interferes with your daily activities. Anxiety can be treated by our professionals through counseling and medication management.

  • Co-Occurring Disorders

    Co-Occuring Disorders refers to the condition when an individual possesses a mental illness and substance abuse disorder. Symptoms can include those associated with the particular substance abuse and/or mental health conditions affecting the individual.

We use a variety of techniques with our clients as a foundation for their treatment.  We implement a strength-based approach, helping clients to gain insight and become empowered.  We strongly believe in the benefits of person-centered treatment, as you are the best expert on your life.  

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    Our counseling program utilizes CBT to treat mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, Co-Occuring Disorders, and more. CBT can improve emotional regulation and assist in the development of personal coping strategies.

  • Motivational Interviewing

    Motivational Interviewing is a client centered counseling style for eliciting behavior change. This process helps clients through the emotional stages of change necessary to find their motivation. Motivational Interviewing supports self-efficacy and optimism.

  • Stages of Change

    Positive change comes from 5 stages: Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, and Maintenance. Our counselors can help guide you through these stages.
